Welcome on this website!

Pacha Nova is the name of our quinta (domain) in the north of Portugal, a lovely place to enjoy nature and to relax. People who don’t need a busy nightlife, luxurious hotels and crowded beaches, will definitely appreciate the quiet and beautiful inland of Portugal.  The quinta is situated in a green environment with lots of recreation facilities nearby. People who like sport and active holidays will also have plenty to do. Your dogs are also welcome. We know how difficult is to find a good holiday home where are four legged friends are welcome.

Pacha Nova literally means ‘new earth’. Pacha is Quechua, one of the indigenous languages spoken in Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. Nova means ‘new’ in Portuguese. We chose this name because it refers to our greatest passion: Newfoundland dogs, a big bear like dog breed. Moreover it expresses perfectly what we want to offer you: a relaxed holiday in the green heart of Portugal.
